LinkedIn resharing, finally solved

One click.
Your whole team
reshared your post.

↗  Repost to your LinkedIn
or schedule for later

Three steps. Seriously, just three.

No onboarding calls. No training sessions. No new apps for your team to download.

1

Publish your company post normally. Then paste the URL into PleaseRepost and mark it as ready to reshare. Takes about 10 seconds.

2

Your team gets their link

Each employee has a personal permanent link. Drop it in Slack, send it by email — or let their saved bookmark do the work next time.

3

They click "Repost." Done.

One button, one click. The post shows up on their LinkedIn profile in seconds. You can see who reshared from your dashboard.

Asking your team to reshare posts is awkward.

You post, you paste the link in Slack, you wait. Three people reshare it. You don't know which three. You send a follow-up reminder and feel like a nag. Sound familiar?

Without PleaseRepost
  • Post link gets buried in Slack
  • Half the team forgets or ignores it
  • No visibility into who actually shared
  • Follow-up reminders feel annoying
  • New post? Same painful cycle again
With PleaseRepost
  • Every employee has a permanent personal link
  • One click — post is on their profile
  • Dashboard shows exactly who reshared
  • Weekly Slack report handles follow-up
  • New posts: just flag the URL and notify

Employee advocacy tools exist.
They're also $10K–$29K a year.

GaggleAMP, EveryoneSocial, Sociabble — solid products if you need content libraries, gamification, and an enterprise admin suite. But if you just want your team to reshare company posts, they're comically overkill.

Good questions. Honest answers.

Is this against LinkedIn's terms of service?
No. Every repost requires a deliberate click from the actual employee — there's no bulk posting or background automation happening without their explicit action. LinkedIn's own API requires this, and it's exactly what we do. Each person authorizes their own LinkedIn account through LinkedIn's official OAuth flow, and each repost is an individual action they take. We're not doing anything unusual; we're just making it really, really easy to get to that one click.
Do employees have to give you their LinkedIn password?
Never. Employees connect their LinkedIn through LinkedIn's official "Sign in with LinkedIn" (OAuth) — the same flow you see any time a web app asks to connect to LinkedIn. We never see, request, store, or touch anyone's password. LinkedIn handles all authentication directly, and employees can revoke access from their LinkedIn settings any time.
What if an employee hasn't connected their LinkedIn yet?
Their personal link walks them through the one-time LinkedIn sign-in — it takes about 20 seconds. After that, coming back is instant: their link just shows the repost button, no re-logging in, no re-authorizing. It really is one click from the second visit onward.
Can employees schedule their repost for later?
Yes. Instead of "Repost now," they can pick a time — tomorrow morning, end of the week, whenever. The repost goes out at the scheduled time. Handy if a post goes up on a Friday and you want reshares on Monday when more people are actually on LinkedIn.
What's in the weekly Slack report?
A clean summary: total reshares for the week, who reshared the most (a bit of friendly recognition), and optionally a list of who hasn't reshared the latest post yet. You connect a Slack webhook in the admin dashboard — paste one URL, done. You can also trigger a report manually any time.
Can we use this for multiple company LinkedIn pages?
Right now each PleaseRepost account manages one company LinkedIn page. If you need multiple pages — a parent brand and sub-brands, for example — email us at hi@pleaserepost.com and we'll work something out.
