Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026By signing up for PleaseRepost ("Service"), you ("Company" or "User") agree to these Terms. Please read them — they're written in plain English, not legalese.
1. What PleaseRepost is
PleaseRepost is a tool that helps companies make it easy for their employees to voluntarily reshare company LinkedIn posts to their personal LinkedIn profiles. Every reshare requires an explicit click from the employee — we don't automate posting on anyone's behalf without their action.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You're responsible for maintaining the security of your admin credentials. You agree not to share your admin link or password with unauthorized parties.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use PleaseRepost only for legitimate business purposes. You may not use the Service to:
- Post spam, misinformation, or content that violates LinkedIn's own Terms of Service.
- Coerce or pressure employees to reshare content. The Service is designed for voluntary participation.
- Attempt to automate resharing without employee action — this violates both our terms and LinkedIn's API terms.
- Circumvent LinkedIn's rate limits or API restrictions.
4. Employee authorization
When an employee connects their LinkedIn account to PleaseRepost, they individually authorize our application through LinkedIn's official OAuth flow. As a company admin, you are responsible for ensuring your employees understand what they're authorizing. You may not add employees to the system without their knowledge.
5. LinkedIn compliance
PleaseRepost uses LinkedIn's official API and complies with LinkedIn's API Terms of Service. Each reshare is an individual action explicitly taken by the authorized employee. We make no guarantee about LinkedIn's API availability, rate limits, or future policy changes, and we reserve the right to modify the Service if LinkedIn's policies change.
6. Pricing and billing
New accounts receive a 6-month free trial with full access. After the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription at the then-current rates. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.
7. Data and privacy
Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. If we terminate your account for a Terms violation, we'll make reasonable efforts to notify you. Upon termination, we'll delete your data per our Privacy Policy.
9. Warranty disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted access or that the Service will meet every specific need you have.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, PleaseRepost's liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or use of the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify active accounts by email before material changes take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
